Busy, Busy, Busy

We have spent the past few weeks being busy with different things. I have spent the past few weeks running from one thing to the next, not even sure if I have my head attached sometimes. As much as I love this time of year it flies by too fast and the busier we are the faster it all seems to go.

Here are many random things we have been doing with our month of June...

The boys once again got to ride on the fire truck at the parade this year. They love doing this and being a part of something so cool. Thank you auntie Kandi for riding along!

Me and the boys put flowers on my grandparents, aunt, and moms grave this year for Memorial Day. It was a lot of fun having them be a part of something my mom did every year and to show them 3 different cemetaries. We will try really hard to carry on her tradition. While I didn't get actual pictures of us doing this I did take some pictures of us playing at the Everson City Park one afternoon after we went and picked up our flowers. We took the flowers home and planted them around our tree at the house to remember them. When I was real little I used to play at this park as it is right across the street from my Grandma Aggie's house.
We also took the boys to see the Sumas Fireworks a couple of weekends ago. We had a lot of fun with our neighborhood friends, VanderHoek's, Roorda's, Visser's, and TeVelde's. The kids loved watching the show and loved being able to stay up so late too. I feel so thankful to be a part of a great group of people. Thanks for allowing us to join you guys and some of your fun activities!

Kobe has spent the past few weeks in swimming lessons with Linda Bode. He has done such a great job and turns out to be a good little swimmer. I love watching him learn new things and gain confidence in his abilities. I find these little things make my job as a mom so rewarding.
Here is also a few random pictures I have taken lately that I just had to share...
